John, son of Benjamin was in all probability the John
Hollomon who died in Bute Co. NC late 1769, early 1770. His will dated 12 Jan
1769 was probated in May Court 1770. He bequeathed 1/2 of his estate to his
dear brother William Hollomon
and the other 1/2 to his dear and loving sister Mary Hollomon.
There is nothing to say he was son of Benjamin, but the fact of only two
siblings and
they William and Mary makes this strong assumption. He was not of age in 1752.
