Benjamin Poe          born before 1705.    First appears in 1726. May have died in Amherst Co. VA in 1785 (or family moved there).

 

William Poe *            born before 1711.    First appears in 1726. Moved to Culpeper County, VA in 1737

 

Samuel Poe born before 1712.    First appears in 1733. Possibly died in Caroline Co. between 1759 and 1765

 

Simon Poe *            born c 1707 ? 1793  First appears in 1737. Dates based on newspaper profile from North Carolina.

 

Marsom Poe            born before 1725     First appears considerably later in 1749. Died 13 Aug 1782 Spotsylvania Co. Descendants spell name Powe.
