In reference to  Dicy Roberts instead of Dicy Olive as wife of Simon Poe.  There is a Rebecca Roberts listed in the 1880 census with Dicy Poe, both are listed as sisters in law to Thomas Blakney.

Just a brief note to send you a couple of items I found among my notes on
Simon Poe	I dont think I have sent you these already	and I wanted to
make sure you had them. In your letter the last you mentioned of 

Simon Poe was in the 1870 Fayette Co. census when he was age 88.
From my Fayette Co. Ala. books I found this:
