The following is my own transcription
from a photocopy of the will. (a few commas I am adding for clarity)
Chatham County November Term 1824
The last will and testament of Stephen Poe
was exhibited in open court and (formed?) by the Oat of F. Bennett Esq a
witness thereto and was ordered to be recorded and was recorded in Book B 86
& 87 and the 2nd within named ,Reuben Poe, was duly qualified.
My will is that after the death of my
wife that my lands be equally divided between my three youngest sons
namely Reuben,
Stephen and William Poe.
