William….. Everything is fine here… thank-you .

The speculation on a Elizabeth Moutray Poe connection originated with Brad Segers of  Todd County Ky.. He found the will of James Moutray in Posey Co Indiana..

The daughter of Thomas Poe , Mahala Poe married Guilford Moutray in Todd Co Ky on Jan 6, 1856. Guilford was born in Christian Co the son of William Moutray…. William being the son of James Moutray Nc & Posey CO Indiana….Guilford and Mahala  relocated to Missouri and buried in Buchanan Co. Mo. James spelled Moutre is found on the Chatham Hillsborough District in 1790.. I have seen the last name spelled  also as Montray.
