Notes:

Simon Poe Junior first clearly appears in a record from Caroline County, VA listed with his wife “Saphiah/Sophia” Bradford and his brother Stephen Poe married to Hannah Bradford, Sophia’s sister. It is not know how long they had been married. The son of Simon Poe, JR was not born until around six years later. One would expect there to be older children. The DNA results of a descendant of the James Poe who died in Guilford County, NC in 1812 show a marker that has only been displayed by descendants of Simon Poe, JUNIOR. This results is accurate as of December 1, 2005
