for the Edmond Poe family demonstrate that Stephen Poe was with the Edmond
Poe family in Habersham County, Georgia and traveled with the children of
Edmond Poe to Calhoun (Benton) County, Alabama where Stephen Poe dies in
1843. In Rev War affidavits of Stephen’s wife, Mary, Stephen, like Henry Poe,
